Newegg.com is my favorite place to go when I'm looking for new computer components or accessories. It's prices are rarely beat and it's customer service is amazing. They often have free shipping on their products and shipping is very fast. Before purchasing a product check out the customer reviews, they provide a lot of helpful information. NeweggTV is Newegg's Youtube channel. They post well done video's reviewing hardware and providing tutorials and advice. Below is a fully comprehensive video taking you from the beginning of building a PC all the way to the end. It shows everything you need to do. Part 1 is on the left and Part 2 is on the right.

Modding
If your into gaming or modding then you need to check out Xoxide.com. I've used this site to get some Cold Cathode lights, LED Fans, and a blue under-lit keyboard. Just find something you like and wait till it goes on sale. When they have sales the prices are pretty good and you can get some cool stuff for cheap to make your computer look awesome. They also have a contest each month were you can submit a picture of your computer for "Mod of the Month". A picture of a previous winner is shown below.
